Choose a black and white drawing and tear around image and adhere to A3 watercolour paper.
Paint in flesh colours using watercolour felt pens and / or flesh colour Gelatos, using your aqua pen for blending. Add black and white pen highlights to hair.
Adhere collage papers to background. I have used old dictionary papers and paper napkins. Apply a light coat of gesso over the papers to tone down the patterns and print.
Step 3 and 4
Add stencilled patterns into your background over the top of your papers. Choose the colours you like. Spritz the papers with a light spray of Brown or Sepia coloured Ink. ( I have used Walnut Ink Crystals added to distilled water to make my own spray)
I had pre - printed some rose stamps in black archival ink onto Gelli Printed papers.
Cut out around your rose stamp and position onto your collage. Glue with a matt medium.
Using a filbert brush in Deco art Avocado Acrylic paint , paint in leaves around the roses.
Finishing your collage by hot gluing an assemblage of embroidered flowers and leaves onto your work. Use a brown waterproof pen to outline the leaves. Add some pink acrylic paint to shadow areas in the background.
Choose a stencil to add modelling paste texture to your background. Cut out your words from printed paper and glue into position, outline the paper in the brown pen
Your beautiful girl is now ready to be framed!

Vintage Cameo Clipboard Step 1. Basecoat clipboard and metal clip in desired colour. I have used an A5 board for this project. I have use Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. Print out a laser image on paper. Apply #DecoArt Photo Transfer Medium over the paper image, and adhere onto board. Wait for the paper to dry. Step 2 Apply water to the paper and gently rub of the backing with your fingers to reveal the transferred image. Choose a stencil to your liking. and stencil in the whole background using a foam wedge in grey acrylic paint. Steps 3 and 4 Sand over the stenciling with fine sandpaper to give a distress look to your background. Use matte medium to adhere your vintage image in place ( This one is from the Pion range, Grandmas Attic) Collage some script papers and washi tape into your background. Step 5 Paint in your circles for flowers and leaves. You may also choose to stencil flowers if you prefer. Step 6 & 7 Finish painting in your roses using an angle flat shader in White acrylic pain…
